Soap – the Cause and the Cure for Acne?! a Quest for a Cure
Thomas E. Reitz asked: Soap – the create and the cure for ACNE?!?!A quest for a cureby Tom Reitzitspuresoap.com 1. Could soap be the cause or the fix for acne? Ever since I was a “yout” (My Cousin Vinny reference!), I had some bad acne. As I denial it started when I was 11 or so. I remember being told by various people that I needed to do this or that, or go take this drug or to not drink sodas… All I seemed to get from people was the run around because in factually, they didn’t have the answer either! These people seemed genuine but there was no consistency and absolutely nothing worked anyway.2. No lead to seen: So, then I recall going to the doctor and perhaps the dermatologist, and they didn’t seem to know what it was caused by either. Drugs were dispensed, and I’ll never cease to remember it as I took this drug one summer and I was told to not get any sun. That ******! I don’t remember taking it for longer than 2 weeks ’promote I wanted to be outside.3. Brief History of Soap: Over the years I began a quest to learn about acne, nutrition and warm up, and also found a bunch of nonsense throughout this as well… but that is another article… I discovered something about how soap had changed in the last century and got another sketch of the puzzle when I learned, anecdotally, that people back on the farm can’t ever remember anyone with acne. My grandfather is 100 next month (June ‘07) and he told me about this a few months back.4. Reason and the Cure?: Soap’s change was done purposefully and in defense of the good ol’ US of A. But this altered its chemistry plausibly forever. My proposition is that this change for the good of the country has actually caused harm to its own citizens. Was this the precisely thing to do at the time? Absolutely. But we now need to acknowledge this change and correct it one bar of soap at a time!5. Myths...

Other than shellacking, how can I eliminate the stench from the wood furniture I bought from smokers?
Dec 18, 2005 by marisahoke | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have cleaned w/soap, bath-water, pledge, tsp and essential oils. I have burned scented candles, incense and left Arm & Hammer baking soda secret it. Nothing works, and shellack is ugly. What can I do other to rid the stale smoke smell from the wood furniture, please?
This is a friendly news bad news answer. Bad news is that your initial cleaning with soap and water may have 'locked' the smoke breath into the piece. Good news is that you may be able to rent an Ozone Generator or find a local Smoke odor departure company in your area who will site the item in a closed room with an ozone generator event. Ozone generators, approx the size of a bookshelf speaker, emit an o-3 molecule which in keel over neutralizes the cabon based smoke smell. Ozone's smell is similar to the air right after a lightning rumpus. Ozone is commonly used in hospitals and in the restoration of fire damaged homes. Run the ozone generator for 3 days with the point exposed to the ozone. A garage would be great for this purpose. Some persons may be sensitive to ozone so before a reside is re-occupied by inhabitants unplug the Ozone Generator and stay out of the room for 15-20mins after the ozone generator is cut off. Honourable luck!

oil spill on wood coffee table...?
Apr 09, 2007 by payton_jr02 | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I have a leader ann style cherry coffee table, that had one of those scented oil difusers on it until the cats knocked it over while I was sleeping. Is there anything to get it looking back to run-of-the-mill aside from tripping and restaining? I have tried pledge and murphy's wood oil soap. I just don't after to make it worse.
Try placing a connect of paper towels over the area and then a lightly damp cloth towel over that. Then with an iron on low hotness setting go over the area, this should cause the oil to be absorbed by the paper towels.
